In regards to the digital vs traditional discussion, you had talked earlier in the year about applying more washes to push the value range of your work. I find also fight with the lack of intensity with my traditional work, and push to digital. Is the issue value, color, or both?nicholashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14329637259897415286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23140677.post-86915766385794081562012-10-16T23:25:44.295-04:002012-10-16T23:25:44.295-04:00I use 500 series and rarely ever have to tape it d...I use 500 series and rarely ever have to tape it down! I don't soak it or anything either. 500 is indestructible and holds up far better than the 400. I only ever use the 400 series for dry media. I have been trying to soak the paper first, but after stretching it, it buckles like some crazy rolling hills. I'm using the 400 Series Srathmore vellum. Perhaps I need to be using the 500 series?

Thanks sir!nicholashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14329637259897415286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23140677.post-48588912923341266732012-08-12T02:06:16.809-04:002012-08-12T02:06:16.809-04:00Justin, I know the frustration of my art not quite...Justin, I know the frustration of my art not quite reaching what my mind saw or heard. So, I definitely understand... but I also have to say... this piece is wonderful and I especially like the digital version. I hope it prints as well for you :o)Geno Writeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01528124145749932084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23140677.post-40265851970618038092012-08-12T01:55:39.825-04:002012-08-12T01:55:39.825-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Geno Writeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01528124145749932084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23140677.post-38427910225428078682012-08-09T11:58:56.886-04:002012-08-09T11:58:56.886-04:00I always want to do dinosaurs!
