Hey Scott, I usually do a value study if it is a bigger scene that I am working on. If it is a portrait the light sources are less confusing, and I find I need less guides to go by. Most of the value studies for oils will look like the doomhammer value study, even though that one was sort of a mix of everything.
Impressive, yeah that Doomhammer really turned out too! In this piece I really like the subtle use of the siloutte and value shifts. Nice work. Will you be going to Illuxcon again?
Where do you come up with these names? What attitude and wonderful expression.
