  2. I am really loving these sketches! Were these drawn just for the sketchbook, or were they done for a particular project? Please don't sell all these at SDCC because I will buy one even at black market prices if I have to!

  6. Guillaume,
A sketch like this probably takes about 6 hours of total work from concept to finish.

These sketches are for a personal project that I've been working on for a while and will hopefully get around to writing sometime in the near future. This sketchbook is going to be a small collection of the sketches surrounding the project thus far.

And Will, I won't be selling the originals at SDCC, but I will be at illuxcon this year if you can make it out for that one. (I have not decided if there will be a black market or not for these...)

  7. Thanks for posting these,

Your sketches are so wonderful. I guess for us artists its great to look at sketches because we're already filling in the blanks of how we envision the patterns, color and light. The simple, elegant sketch suggests so much.

  8. Stunning - then again I get blown away by the fact you did this without smudging it let alone the exquisite detail!

  9. This must be an amazing personal project. Sorry if I sounded annoying about the sketches, I just thought that you were compiling a Sketchbook for Comic-Con like in years past. But now that I hear that you will be at illuxcon I am beginning to formulate another desperate plan to somehow obtain some artwork. Rest assured I am not an obsessive psychopath, rather an illustrator wanting inspiration (which is probably just as bad).
Thanks for keeping me informed anyway!
